Dominant in the opening four rounds, Victoria will aim to cap an unbeaten run in the under-16 girls’ competition.
The Victorian team includes Ashlea Hampton from Catholic College Bendigo and Choney Meemusor from Bendigo South East Secondary College.
Another Catholic College Bendigo student, Jye Caldwell has played a key role through midfield for Victoria in the under-15 boys’ championship.
The Vics’ sole loss was a 55-53 defeat against WA in round two.
Caldwell, 14, has starred for Golden Square in the Bendigo Football League’s under-18 competition this season.
The teenager is also a talented cricketer and boxer.
In the finale to the SSA titles, Victoria takes on WA in the grand final from 1.30pm on Saturday at Hamlyn Park.
