Students from California Gully Primary School joined Pink Floyd tribute band Experience Floyd on stage at the Capital Theatre on Friday night to perform the prog rock classic Another Brick in the Wall (Part II).

Grade 4 and 5 teacher Wendy Ennor said the students had performed popular music’s most famous double negative sensationally, despite the grammatical faux pas.
“I’ve been correcting them all year and they said ‘now we can say it’ so there’ll be a grammar lesson first thing when we get back,” she said.
The song’s anti-establishment message created controversy in 1979 but Ms Ennor said none of her students had shown any signs of rebellion.
“No, our lot are beautiful, such great kids,” she said.
