The Strategic Grant Seeking session will focus on all aspects of grant writing - including project planning, the application process and how to put together an effective submission.
The workshop is on July 20 from 5.30pm to 8.30pm at the council offices in Lyttleton Terrace, Bendigo.
The second session – the Community Grant Writing Workshop – is on July 21 from 9.30am to 11.30am and is also at the council offices.
Both workshops will help community groups to develop the skills necessary to access the city’s grants programs and increase their chances of securing funding.
They will aim to prepare the community to apply for the city's 2015/2016 Community Grants Program.
Grant categories include community development, community events, arts, environment and sustainability, active communities, healthy communities, print and digital publications and driver education for youth.
To RSVP for either workshop, email grants@bendigo.vic.gov.au or, phone the council on 5434 6214.
