WIND caused a caravan to flip over on the Calder Freeway near Gisborne yesterday. Police said a car towing the caravan was travelling southbound at about 2.30pm when the caravan turned over in the wind. The occupants had signed the vehicle off with tow-truck drivers and left the scene by the time police arrived. Police said there were no injuries and that there would be no further inquiries.
