Bendigo club member Amelia Bruggy was part of the Vics’ female squad that took out the first two Tests 3-1 and tied the final contest 2-2.
The teen enjoyed mixed fortunes on the greens at the Moonee Ponds Bowling Club.
Her fours team was unbeaten during the series and she also played in a winning triples combination in Test three.
But she was not able to salute the judge in either of her doubles games, though both were close encounters.
The Victorian boys also scored two wins and a tie in their three Tests.
Bruggy, a year 11 student at Catholic College Bendigo, is the reigning ladies singles champion at Bendigo Bowls Club.
She has been named in Bowls Victoria’s under-18 girls gold state squad for the 2015-16 season, as has Kira Bourke, from Maryborough Golf Bowls Club, and Lisa Trewarne, who lives in Elphinstone but bowls for Moonee Valley.
Trewarne’s brother Todd is in the boys’ gold squad.
The four have been invited to try out for the Vic team that will attend the national titles.
The silver boys' state squad includes Cameron Keenan (Bendigo East), Mitch Cole (Strathfieldsaye), Dallan Klemke (Eaglehawk), Luke Nemeth and Charlie Manning (both Bendigo).
All but Keenan, who hails from Rochester, are in the Bendigo Dragons under-18 bowls development squad.
