A fortnight after wins at Albury, Connor and Vaughn Stamm step back inside the ropes to compete in the flyweight division.
The Axedale twins will both contest the 13th contests of their careers.
Latest victory for Connor was the interstate challenge title.
"Connor has had an incredible run of success in the past six months," said trainer Frank Pianto.
The 16-year-old is the reigning Australian and Victorian champion and racked up wins in many parts of the country.
"It's been a big year of travelling for Connor and Vaughn to compete," Pianto said.
Their campaign is being helped along by the Newmarket Hotel, PPC Coatings, Linked Electrical, Terry Hanson Painting, and HK Clothing.
Pianto said the Gold Coast bouts were another step toward big goals later in the year.
"The plan is the transition to the Victorian Amateur Boxing Association and vie for state and national titles," Pianto said.
"Both of the boys have a lot of skill and work extremely hard at training, which is often five times a week."
Connor and Vaughn are both looking forward to competing on the Gold Coast.
"The goal is to win and fight well, but either way it's all about gaining experience," Connor said.
Both of the boys struck back from losses at the Eaglehawk tournament promoted by Pianto to win their next matches in Caloundra.
Vaughn Stamm said a lot of the focus in training was on footwork and technique.
Another of the Academy's squad to watch is Taonga Little. The 15-year-old marked his debut in the light heavyweight class by winning at Albury's latest tournament.
"I took up boxing about 18 months ago for fitness," Little said. "A lot of work has gone and will keep going into technique."
