Vahland designed the villa for "Quartz King" George Lansell over the course of two decades from 1869 to 1888.
The two events will be from noon to 2pm and 3pm to 5pm on Saturday, June 13.
People who attend the tours will be able to enjoy local food, wine and entertainment as well as hearing the history of the villa and details on the planned future development.
City of Greater Bendigo mayor Peter Cox said the events are a rare opportunity to tour one of Bendigo’s most fascinating buildings.
“Fortuna Villa has captured the imagination of Bendigo residents for many decades," he said.
"It is one of our most extravagant buildings and after being kept for many years for defence purposes, new owner Paul Banks has kindly agreed to allow people to tour this historic gem.
"Lansell began with a two-story brick house and was inspired by his travels to envision the Fortuna we see today. It is truly magnificent and an amazing example of Vahland’s architectural talent."
Tickets for the two Fortuna events are $65 and go on sale at 9am on Friday, May 15.Bookings are essential. Tickets will not be available on the day.
