The Dragons traveled to Parkville for their opening match of the 2015 season on Sunday.
The Barbarians led 14-0 early in the fourth quarter, but the Dragons fought back.
Thomas Prince scored a touchdown late in the game, but the damage was done, the final score was 14-8.
The Dragons will next take on the Packenham Silverbacks in Delacombe on Saturday at 1.30pm.
