The 21-year-old from Castlemaine started out shadowing the event co-ordinator laminating press passes before managing the VIP bar last year.
This year she has worked the whole week on the GTM site, organising all the little details that the festival needs to be a success.
"This year I have been organising the radios and keys, organising spreadsheets and working on (media) accreditations," Ms Goodwin said.
"It has been an amazing experience to see every aspect of the event come together. It is fun, hectic and organised."
Ms Goodwin is in her final year of an event managment and marketing course at La Trobe University.
"I originally wanted to do wedding planning but I have swayed into other kinds of events.
"I have always loved organising and planning things. It's cool to bring a service that people will love and enjoy."
Ms Goodwin said she first came to GTM as a patron when she was 16.
"It involves the whole community and is something different. There is a really chilled out vibe and it is fun and friendly," she said.
"It also sticks with a wide range of music for every demographic and travels the country instead of staying in the cities."

GTM founder Stephen Halpin said it was great to see volunteers working their way through the ranks.
"We have a few volunteers coming through like this,' he said.
"We keep an eye on the good and motivated ones and have been able to transition them."
This year is GTM's seventh year in Bendigo.
"Bendigo always sells out fast and we love coming here,' he said.
"This year everything is running right on time. We have it down to a fine art and every year tweak little things to help improve the festival,' he said.
One for the tweaks this year is The Plot, a dance area that will feature DJs in the afternoon and evening.
"It's something we are experimenting with," Mr Halpin said.
"We are trying to add a new dimension and curate a new space. It will be someting different for people to engage with. I think it will be popular."
As well as headline acts Wolfmother, Hilltop Hoods and Flight Facilities Mr Halpin said A$AP FERG and Charli XCX have been impressive acts.
"They both put on great shows," he said.
