Show manager Carol Mudford said this year's floral art section was based on the Anzacs of 1915.
"We had absolutely wonderful displays, also we had an Avenue of Honour where we've honoured 13 of our Bendigo boys who died on April 25, 1915.
"Everyone who comes in the door has to walk through this avenue of honour."
The show also ran a section called the Anzac Challenge, which involves pairing chrysanthemums from New Zealand with ones from Australia.
Ms Mudford said the winner of the Anzac challenge was Melbourne's Robert Wilson.
The show's other main competition, the ASQ Championships, saw Bendigo's Ken Judd and Mr Wilson come equal first.
Ms Mudford said show exhibitors had come from Tasmania, Melbourne and other regional areas.
"Our show this year has been smaller, down on entries, but quality has been outstanding," she said.
"Even the beginners section has been really, really good."
She said visitors had come from Shepparton, Mooroopna and even South Australia to see the show.
