Adzuna is a jobs search engine designed to make it easier to hunt for the right job, make decisions about your career and find the best person for your company fit.
Founded in the UK in 2011 by former Gumtree executives, adzuna.com.au now attracts more than six million visitors a month across 11 countries.
Fairfax Media launched the Australian arm of Adzuna in capital cities last year and will expand the concept to regional and rural areas from Monday.
Jobseekers who search online through www.bendigoadvertiser.com.au will not only see local listings but can click through to adzuna.com.au where they will find more than 130,000 live vacancies across the country.
Filter search results by industry, region, salary or working hours. Or use the site’s real-time employment market data and social job hunting tools to take control of your career.
It’s all free to use.
If you are looking to fill a vacancy, you can continue to place your “position vacant” ad in your local paper, knowing it will not only appear on the paper’s website but also as a priority listing on adzuna.com.au, giving you a greater opportunity of finding the best candidate.
“As a team, we love using the awesome power of technology to help match people to better, more fulfilling jobs,” Adzuna Australia boss Raife Watson said.
“We are delighted to be working with Fairfax to provide a real alternative to existing employment products and services.”
