We are indebted to the Bendigo community and the visitors to our city for their generous support.
I would also like to commend our customers for the patience and understanding when queuing up to pay for their purchases.
Our opening on Friday saw the largest number of customers we have experienced on an opening day for many years, and there were unavoidable delays in dealing with the queue at our checkout stations.
Their understanding was appreciated by club members manning the checkout line and cash registers.
Our club has been running the Easter Book Fair for almost forty years and support is increasing each year, for which we are most grateful. Indeed many of the customers commented that they look forward to the Book Fair every year.
As a Service Club, we are committed to supporting Youth, the YMCA and Community organisations.
The Easter and Spring Book fairs are a major source of income which enables us to support the above.
