All non-essential lighting will be turned off at the bank's major centres around Australia and some branches around Bendigo.
This year the bank is a major sponsor of the annual event, which aims to highlight humanity's footprint on the planet.
Earth Hour Australia national manager Anna Rose said the 2015 national theme was related to food production.
"This year Earth Hour will celebrate Aussie food and farmers, reminding Australians of the need to tackle global warming for the sake of the country’s farming communities and our supply of fresh, healthy, home grown food," she said.
"All Australians are proud of our farmers for feeding the nation, but they are on the front line of global warming and are already feeling the effects of higher temperatures, changing rainfall patterns and more extreme weather."
Bendigo Bank's managing director Mike Hirst said the initiative resonated strongly with the bank.
"We believe that creating a strong Australia for the future means championing our farming communities - something we have done for many generations," he said.
A spokesperson said the bank knew of about 69 events across Australia as part of this year's event, and about 83 of its branches were also selling a special Earth Hour cookbook called 'Planet to Plate'.
Proceeds of the cookbook go towards supporting Earth Hour's work with communities, schools and small businesses.
