The quality of cattle presented was very good and competition was very strong among the buyers.

 An excellent run of veal and young cattle came forward. 

The top vealer reached $2.48 per kilo, holding fully firm to last week.

Heavy steers were in good supply and condition was very good. 

Prices were fully firm, with the top steer reaching $2.28.

Medium to heavy steers were in good supply as well. 

The top steer reached $2.30 per kilo, also holding fully firm from last week's market. 

A smaller yarding of excellent quality 

cows came forward, with the top cow 

reaching $1.90 per kilo, staying the same as last week.

Due to Lifetime Traceability scanning, cattle must be delivered to the saleyards by 9pm. All cattle must carry a NLIS ear tag before being transported.
