Technicolour tradies the XXXX Concreters, who each dyed their hair in fluorescent colours last month, have stepped up their efforts by hosting a "massive" auction at the Kangaroo Flat Hotel on Sunday.
Ringleader Ash Thomas said the event would feature live music from AJ and Lachie, Alley Barlett and Matt Giri.
"There's not many pubs in Bendigo this weekend that will actually have free bands from 11am until 10pm and they’re all donating their time," he said.
"And we've got the two girls from Cosi Bella (who dyed Mr Thomas' hair) on the day there for people who want to shave or colour their hair."
Meanwhile Bendigo Violet Street Primary School grade six students Samantha Miles and Jet Fraser have agreed to pitch in by shaving their hair for the cause.
"We just thought it would be a great thing to do and thought it would be good to help everyone with blood cancer and just wanted to help," Jet said.
Eaglehawk Secondary College year 10 student Mikayla Knight has also agreed to go the chop, with her brother Jordan's Axe Creek Cricket Club also getting behind her fundraising efforts.
"I saw the ad and thought about how some kids don't get to choose (to lose their hair) so I decided to do it so they'll see that other kids will do it for them so they don’t feel so bad about it," she said.
"I'm happy because I'm doing it for a good cause."
Fifteen-year-old Annabel Bradshaw will be joining them in the hairdresser's chair after her own family was touched by cancer when her mother Kate's cousin developed leukaemia.
"She's gone into remission and has survived, but that's just the sort of person Annabel is really," Ms Bradshaw said.
"She pledged to raise $1000 and she’s pretty much raised that target through friends and family so she's going to increase her pledge to around $2000 now that we've got some sponsors on board," she said.
