The talented cyclist has had an outstanding few months on the road and is looking forward to being a part of arguably the biggest cycling and athletics event in Australia.
"The Madison is one of those iconic races on the calendar each year, so it is flattering to be asked to be an ambassador," she said.
"It is going to be a great weekend, Bendigo always puts on a good show."
Mullens will be racing in the RACV women's criterium on Friday night.
She said it was great to see the race back on the Madison schedule after it was absent for so many years.
"Victoria is probably a step ahead of the nation when it comes to equal pay for male and female cyclists, so it would be rude not to have a women's criterium," Mullens said.
"The Madison is not a typical cycling event, but it is events like this that motivate people and inspire people to try the sport."
The Innes Motors Honda Women's Madison teams: Nicole Whitburn and Chloe Baggs, Alex Manley-Jess Mundy, Kristy Glover-Brit Lindores, Rebecca Williamson-TBA, Chloe Moran-Dani McInnery, Macey Stewart-Lauren Perry, Tarryn Heather-Felcicity Wardlaw, Jessica Lane-Catherine Gautier, Tayla Evans-Hayley Jones.
The event will be raced on Saturday night at the Tom Flood Sports Centre.
