The 28th grand final was won by South Bendigo's Greg Hilson as he caught Eaglehawk's George Flack just metres from the finish line.
It was the second time Hilson, who has run in 25 editions of the classic, had taken series honours. He won the 1995 grand final.
South Bendigo's Mandy Worthington and Daniel Plowright regularly featured in the placings across the 10 rounds and were joint winners of the 2014-15 series aggregate.
The John Burke most consistent award went to South Bendigo's Kyall Britten.
Hilson will race around the Tom Flood Sports Centre Centre track at this weekend's Bendigo International Madison carnival.
He has nominated for the frontmarkers 800m and veterans 300m.
All four distance series competitors said the atmosphere and the handicap format were key factors in them returning week after week, or summer after summer.
Worthington won the aggregate in consecutive years, while Plowright raced the distance series for the first time.
Long-time sponsor and athlete, George Flack said the series had always been a popular one.
"It was the brainchild of Leigh Purtill and Jack Wellard many years ago to provide some racing throughout the week," Flack said of joining forces with the Bendigo and District Cycling Club's Thursday night track program.
