In marking its 70th season, North Bendigo has major events planned for August 8 at the All Seasons Hotel.
The club's celebrations will include the clash with Mount Pleasant on the Bulldogs' turf in Atkins Street.
At half-time of the senior match a book on the history of North Bendigo FNC, penned by Bendigo-based historian and author Darren Lewis will be launched.
The after-match festivities will then be at the All Seasons, a new major sponsor of the club along with Superior Roofing and G.J. Gardner Homes.
A panel will select the inaugural Hall of Fame inductees.
"Just how many will be chosen for the first intake is yet to be decided," said Hall of Fame steering committee member Scott Pysing.
"Our plan for the club's 70th year was to launch a Hall of Fame," Pysing said.
"Team of the Century is a great idea, but once it's done it's locked in."
Two of the players from the 1940s, the Phillips brothers, Norm and Ken stood alongside last year's Cheatley medallist and key onballer Tyson Findlay to launch details of the club's 70th celebrations.
The club is compiling a database to reach as many former players, commiittee members and supporters as possible. For more details, contact Scott Pysing on 0400 568 311 or Skye Bennett on 0409 168 302.
