ABOUT 800 youngsters from across the region are gearing up to take part in the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon on Sunday.

Bendigo athletes aged between seven and 15 will race around the Queen Elizabeth Oval sports precinct.
The junior stars have been busy preparing for the annual event, taking part in various training activities.
Participants will swim, cycle and run in the event, with every youngster receiving a gold medal and a champion certificate for their efforts.
The 11-15 year olds race will begin at 9am, the 7-8 year olds will start at 9.45am and the 9-10 year olds will race from 10.30am.
