The club hosted an open day at the weekend, where people were introduced to the unique sport of Roller Derby for the first time.
The day included a game between the Slamurais and the Rolling Dead, a question and answer session and a free fun skate.
Spokesperson Imogen Smith said she was pleased with how it all unfolded.
"The turnout was great, there was a lot of people there, which is what we wanted," she said.
"It was a successful day."
Smith said next step would participants is to take part in the training program, dubbed Fresh Meat.
The initiative is run by accredited Bendigo coach Kim 'Sugar' Sprake.
"The 12-week program is about teaching the basics to people, how to turn, go backwards and how to fall safely," Smith said.
"Then if people pass the level two test they can do contact training."
