The 30-over-a-side match will be played at Eaglehawk's Canterbury Park on Sunday, February 22, and feature the Lucky Stars Australia Transplant Cricket team taking on the DonateLife Everyday Heroes.
The Robyn Hookes Shield match aims to raise awareness of organ donation.
Robyn Hookes is the widow of former Australian cricketer and Victorian coach David Hookes, who had his organs donated after his death in 2004.
Since then Robyn has been a driving force for organ donation.
While the annual game is all about fun, it carries a serious message.
"What we're wanting to do with the game is highlight the need to discuss with loved ones the important issue of organ and tissue donation," Lucky Stars Australia Transplant Cricket team secretary Steve Hollingsworth said on Wednesday.
"It can be a confronting and difficult issue to raise, but hopefully, creating awareness of it through cricket can open up the discussion between family members."
As well as the match between the Lucky Stars Australia Transplant Cricket team and the DonateLife Everyday Heroes - who have won the previous two clashes - the day will also include a junior 12-over-a-side game from 8.30am.
