MANY families will represent Athletics Bendigo when the three-day Flack Advisory-backed Victoria Country track and field titles start in Bendigo on Friday afternoon.
AB's proud tradition as being among a leader in Athletics Victoria circles will roll on at the Latrobe University Bendigo athletics complex in Flora Hill.
Some will compete at the country championships for the first time, but many others have competed at Victoria Country titles for two, three decades, or more.
First of ther field events is the under-20 men's and 50-plus men's hammer from 2.15pm on Friday.
Track action begins with the hurdles at 3.35pm.
Saturday's program for track and field starts at 9am.
The finale on Sunday begins with the 10km races at 8am.
Sunday's field program hits off with the men's open javelin and the 50-plus and 60-plus women's shot put, and some pole vault.
It's free entry to the Retreat Road complex.
