Natalie Stanway, from Bendigo SES, said volunteers had attended more than 100 callouts since 3.30pm on Friday, throughout Bendigo and Marong.
She said they were being assisted by volunteers from Castlemaine and Dunolly.
“People need to be aware another storm cell is expected in the next hour and it will bring similar rain and conditions, “Ms Stanway said.
“If people are experiencing problems they can call us on 132 500. If it’s life threatening call triple-zero.
“To some extent people may need to be patient as the volume of jobs we have on is very high.”
Ms Stanway said under no circumstances should people enter floodwaters.
“They shouldn’t be getting up on roofs either,” she said.
