The country's best cyclists in the under-19 and elite categories will go toe-to-toe at the championships, which are set to be held in Melbourne for the first time in 13 years.
Dean was selected in the men's team, alongside talented cyclists Shane Perkins and Alexander Morgan.
He qualified for the track event after blitzing the field at the Victorian senior titles earlier this month.
The Australian Track titles will be held between January 28 and 31.
