How did you get involved in basketball? I was asked to fill in for my older sister's team when I was bottom-age under-14 and I also had some friends playing so decided to take it up.
What do you love about it? It's fun, the friendships, and it keeps me fit.
Major basketball achievements:
Bendigo Junior Braves under-14C in 2012-13, under-14A in 2013-14, and now under-16A in 2014-15
Victoria Country squad in 2014 and 2015
National Intensive Training Program squad 2014-15
Won under-14 club championship title with Braves in 2014 to make the national club championship and was leading points scorer at nationals
What do you hope to gain from your time in the NITP? I hope to gain higher basketball knowledge, exposure to higher levels of coaching and make new sporting friends.
What has been the highlight of your basketball career so far? Playing at the under-14 club nationals, being selected to train in the NITP and representing Vic Country in under-14s as a bottom-age and top-age player.
What are your future basketball goals? I'd like to play WNBL and go on to represent Australia.
