KYNETON police are appealing for public assistance after a man pulled over a driver using red and blue flashing lights.

The incident happened just before 10pm on Yaldwyn Street East on November 20.
A 20-year-old Kyneton woman has told police that a vehicle pulled up behind her car and activated some blue and red flashing lights sitting on the dashboard.
The woman pulled over with the other vehicle stopping behind her.
A man got out of the car and approached her driver’s side window.
The man asked her why she was speeding and asked her to produce her licence and registration.
The woman had reservations about the man’s identity and when she began to question him, he ran back to his car and drove off.
The man is described as being aged between 20 and 25, approximately 173 centimetres in height with sandy brown hair.
The vehicle he was driving is described as an old Holden sedan with a loud exhaust.
