The netball pair is expecting a tough pre-season under coach Simone McKinnis but say they are excited about their title hopes.
“There is always that premiership curse so we are really keen to make the finals," Mentor said.
"It is really important we finish on top of the ladder to give us the best possible chance of a home grand final,” Mentor said.
“We have the same starting seven as we did this season and have recruited some really good rookies.”
One of their newest players is Bendigo defender Chloe Watson.
“We have had a lot of the youngsters training with us in the gym and Chloe has been one of those girls,” Mentor said.
“It is great to see the pathway set by Netball Victoira succeed especially for other local girls who are able to see that you can follow the pathway and get some success.
“It makes all the hard work worth it, so I am excited to see how she will go next year.”
Moloney said she was a team-mate of Watson’s in the Victorian Netball League.
“I played state league with her at the City West Falcons, so I have played with her for a number of years," she said.
“Chloe is an amazing player so we can’t wait for her to join the team.”
