The Bloods squad was training on Monday night at Spring Gully Oval.
A gruelling workout included plenty of running and skills work.
The club has turned to Bendigo Football Netball League goalkicking great Steven Oliver, who previously played and later coached at Castlemaine, as senior coach for its 2015 campaign.
Oliver will team with playing assistant coach Marcus Goonan from Richmond Centrals to play key off-field roles in the club's drive to climb the ladder.
A new-look coaching panel includes Andrew Wild, under-18s, and Mel Dillon, A-grade and A-reserve netball.
