Remember it has to be on trend and must stand out for all the right reasons.
We don't want any Cup catastrophes.
ND: When it comes to fashion it's more about comfort than style, for me.
Am far more comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt than in the suit, but will make an effort for Cup Day.
Best advice when it comes to fashion, Doley-style, is "keep it simple".
Comfy shoes are a must, so I will be in the "Hush Puppies".
Won't be revealing what I'm wearing in this column, have to be wary of copycats, Magpie.
Understand it will be a big day for you making your debut as a "fashions on the field" judge at Bendigo Cup.
Congrats on the call-up.
KA: Thank you, I hope I do the Sport team proud.
It should be a very exciting day, it is one that I look forward to each year.
People get to dress up in their spring racing finest, have a drink of bubbly trackside and maybe watch a few horses race around.
It should be a great day.
ND: Spot on in terms of it being one of the biggest days on Bendigo's sporting and social calendar.
Tip a winner or not, it's an enjoyable day for the thousands who flock to the "Nursery of Champions" for the Cup.
Will be following Bourkey's tips as to the ones to watch next Wednesday.
What a week it's been for Australia's netball team.
A superb Test victory in Bendigo against England was followed up with Wednesday night's triumph in Canberra.
The Diamonds have achieved an unbeaten year for the first time in a long time.
A fantastic effort by a squad that includes central Victorian stars Julie Corletto, Caitlin Thwaites and Bec Bulley.
KA: Just a little reminder that I tipped the trifecta at the Bendigo Cup last year, so I know what I am talking about it.
It wasn't a fluke.
Yes the Diamonds have had a year that they won't forget.
The Australian team is full of stars, there is a lot of great players that can play in different combinations, which has caused some headaches for its opposition in 2014.
Thwaites and Corletto will now team up for the New South Wales Swifts.
ND: Had forgotton about that tipping feat, Magpie.
My tip is do not follow my tip, unless you want to back last past the post.
A Swifts line-up that has Corletto darting about defence and Thwaites leading the attack should go well in the Trans Tasman Cup.
On the local sporting scene there should be plenty beside the South Bendigo bowls greens for Friday night's division one clash between South Bendigo and Bendigo East.
A great night for bowls, not just because of it being the first night game for premiership points, but South has Australian coach Steve Glasson in its line-up for a one-off appearance.
KA: It sounds like it will be a memorable night out on the greens, hopefully they get a big crowd there to see the action.
ND: Have rolled a few deliveries at Sports Star bowls days over the years, Magpie. Doubt I will be recruited by any club.
