The newly-married pair, who appeared in the latest season of Channel Nine's The Block, will judge the Myer Fashions on the Field at the Jayco Bendigo Cup.
The couple visited the city earlier this month as part of a Mitre 10 promotion tour and said they were thrilled to be returning to Bendigo.
"I am excited to get down to Victoria full stop. Our last trip was a real quick stint, it's going to fun," Karstan said.
Max, a former beauty queen, said there was little separating interior design from fashion design.
"Style and design come together quite nicely. I think they really complement each other," she said.
"I am really looking forward to judging, it will be a great experience.
"I really love my fashion, I love checking out the latest trends, so I am really excited."
The Myer Fashions on the Field includes four categories - Myer Lady of the Day, Myer Local Lady of the Day, Myer Man of the Day and the Myer Millinery Award.
Max said, as a judge, she would be on the lookout for outfits that stood out.
"I think this season will be big on prints and pops of colour," she said.
"I will be looking for something timeless that stands out and is a bit different. I want to see people's individual styles. I am looking forward to what 2014 will bring and are really honoured to be asked."
Karstan said he expected to see lots of men in blue.
"I think there will be lots of blue, in all of its tones. I encourage everyone to get involved. It's a reason to get dressed up. I love it," he said.
The Bendigo Jayco Cup is on October 29 at the Bendigo Jockey Club. Gates open at 10.30am. Registrations for Myer Fashions on the Field can be made on the day from 11am.
