A key player in Eaglehawk's defence, Daly polled 96 votes to win the George Ilsley Medal for the first time.
Collins figured in a lot of play through the midfield and scored 94 votes, with Brodie Filo next best on 71.
The Ilsley Medal win was a unique feat by Daly.
He became the first player in the club's history to have won all three best and fairest medals.
The George Ilsley Medal, seniors; Alan Williams Medal, reserves; and Darren Thompson, under-18s; were first struck a decade ago.
Daly's consistency, dash and clearing kicks caught the eye of those casting votes and also selectors of the Bendigo Advertiser's BFNL Team of the Year.
Eaglehawk coach Luke Monaghan said Daly's loyalty and persistence were an inspiration to many at the club.
Daly's tally of 177 matches includes 87 in seniors and 90 in reserves.
There were many highlights of Eaglehawk's function held on AFL grand final eve at Bendigo Club.
Life membership was awarded to senior captain Luke Button and to key off-field player Leon Kelly.
Eaglehawk is the only football club Button has played for.
In 2014 he passed the 200-game mark at senior or reserve level with Eaglehawk.
Button is a multiple premiership-winning player with the Hawks.
Kelly's 13-year stint on the committee in the 80s and 90s included seven as president.
He was chairman of selectors when Eaglehawk won the senior premiership in 1982 and was a strong campaigner against amalgamation with Northern United in the late 80s and early 90s.
The John Ledwidge senior coaches award was presented to Sam Thompson.
A previous winner of the under-18s team champion award, Sam Thompson worked extremely hard to become a key member of the senior line-up as the season rolled on.
In the reserves award, Ben Conley was a runaway winner on 95 votes. Runner-up in the Ross Pointon-coached team was Brodie Hawke.
Best in the finals for the reserves was Sam Thompson.
