Catholic, Baptist, Anglican, Presbyterian, Pentecostal church leaders and Christian organisations met at Malayan Orchid to support the community radio station and support its program for Victory Christian College students.
LIFE FM general manager Mikey Dynon said LIFE FM's event had several purposes - to bring the Christian community together, to show pastors what the station was doing to "incorporate the next generation" and to show how the LIFE FM fitted into the Christian community.
Bendigo Chaplaincy Committee head Craig Clifton said the event was a good opportunity for people in various organisations to get together and share their experiences.
Southern Gateway Church's Pete Pritchard said the event was "long overdue".
Bendigo Baptist Church senior pastor and vice president of LIFE FM Dave Lovell said the event showed the radio station's commitment to the community and showing leaders that they're all "endeavouring to do the same thing".
Victory Christian College year 7 student Taylor Morrison was among a group of students participating in LIFE FM's program for high school students.
Miss Morrison said she enjoyed practical learning outside the classroom and that the broadcast training had made many of the students more confident.
