In a superb pitching performance, Falcons' Aaron Petri did not concede a run over five innings as the best-of-three series began.
Petri led the game off with a single and scored on a wild throw, but it took until the fourth inning before a second run was added.
Caleb Fox led the inning off with a base hit before a sacrifice bunt by Ash Wilkie moved him across to second. A wild throw put Fox to third base before a sacrifice fly by Aaron Petri put Scots up two-nil.
David Moloney and Glenn Farrell led off the fifth inning with back to back walks, before young Lachlan Jack moved them both across.
A sacrifice fly by Fox put Moloney across home plate before a hit to Ash Wilkie was capped by Glenn Farrell going across to make it four-nil.
The win capped a great day for Scots after the C-grade team scored an 18-3 win against Falcons.
Extra time was played in the B-grade clash between Bendigo East and Falcons.
East led 12-4 after five innings, but Falcons made it 12-all after it scored seven runs in the sixth inning.
East scored three runs in the seventh and held on for a 15-14 victory.
