The business sells refurbished computers to people on low income and offers affordable repairs.
The refurbisher operates out of the Eaglehawk Recycle Shop, on the site of the Eaglehawk Eco Centre, and on Monday opened a new shop front.
Manager Tim Couwenberg said business was booming.
"We get about 30 to 40 customers a week. We are quite busy," he said.
"We get a lot of laptop repairs from kids and families, and more desktop repairs from elderly people.
"It's about keeping stuff out of the landfill. It's all precious metals out of these computers, there is nothing that is rubbish or that needs to go into the bin.
"There is copper, gold platinum, brass, all different types of materials."
Mr Couwenberg said the new shop front presented customers with a more "personalised service" and the ability for the business to display its sale items.
He said customers would be able to browse and test out the computers before they bought them.
"It shouldn't have to cost them $1000 to have a computer and get on the internet. They should be able to do it cheaply," he said.
Mr Couwenberg said the refurbisher employed one paid staff member and two volunteers.
Eaglehawk Recycle Shop manager Peter Buck said the Eaglehawk Eco Centre had become a one-stop shop for the city's recycling needs.
"If someone brings a used computer in for recycling, it can either be repaired and go straight into the shop, or there is staff on-site there who can dismantle it and recycle the parts," he said.
Revamp Computers is a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher and is a division of Future Employment Opportunities.
Customers who purchase a computer from the new ReVamp store are eligible to receive 10 per cent off computer courses at Future Employment Opportunities training organisation, On Track Training and Employment.
