Elite players inspire local teams at NETFIT classes

ANZ Championship pair Sarah Wall and Sonia Mkoloma encouraged Bendigo netballers to become better players and better people at a series of unique training sessions.

The 2014 Sydney Swifts team-mates conducted NETFIT classes on Wednesday and Thursday, hosted by the Bendigo Football Netball League.

They were in town as part of a regional road-trip by Wall's business, Jeanieboy, which promotes fitness, health and friendship through netball.

Participants did activities that focused on their aerobic fitness, strength and conditioning, footwork and ball-handling skills.

Clubs that took part included Kangaroo Flat, Golden Square, South Bendigo and Strathfieldsaye BFNL, Strath juniors, Girton, St Therese's and Maiden Gully.
