Exemplar Health is the consortium contracted to deliver the multi-million-dollar new Bendigo Hospital Project and is comprised of Capella Capital, Lend Lease, Spotless, and Siemens.
Exemplar Health chief executive Michele Morrison has also joined the Bendigo Health Foundation board with the consortium set to feature as a sponsor of Bendigo Health's Fun Run in November.
Bendigo Health Foundation board chair Scott Elkington met with Ms Morrison on Wednesday and thanked Exemplar Health for its ongoing support.
"This is about celebrating the new partnership that we've formed," Mr Elkington said.
"This sponsorship commitment is not an insignificant amount, it's $80,000 over four years which is wonderful support.
"This it all about about signalling the new partnership going forward with Exemplar and, on behalf of the Bendigo Health Foundation, we're delighted to welcome you in."
The sponsorship will assist in delivering significant improvements for patients and staff in the current hospital as well as the new hospital, through the purchase of state of the art equipment.
Bendigo Health Foundation director Jane Anderson said Ms Morrison was a great addition to the board.
“Michele is a fantastic appointment for the board and the sharing of knowledge and skills, developed through her experience directing significant building projects, will certainly assist us in our fundraising pursuits, resulting in greater outcomes for our patients and staff,” Ms Anderson said.
"The success of the foundation is reliant in many ways on the skills and expertise of the board who contribute their time and more on a voluntary basis.”
Ms Morrison said it was important to her and Exemplar Health that the relationship with Loddon Mallee extended past the design and construction of the new Bendigo Hospital.
