Cyclists Peta Mullens, Chris Hamilton and Lachlan Sens will wear the green and gold at the 2014 UCI Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships in Norway.
The trio is a part of the 40-person team to take part in mountain biking’s annual pinnacle title.
They will be vying for championship glory as well as the honour of wearing the prestigious UCI rainbow stripes.
Mullens will compete in the elite women’s category.
The 26-year-old was selected in the Australian team last year but had to withdraw.
Mullens just competed in the Giro Rosa with her British Wiggle Honda team.
The final stage was raced on Sunday with Mullens finishing in 43rd position in the 10-day event.
Giro Rosa is the biggest women's road race of the cycling season.
Mullens will now turn her attention to the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Hamilton will race in the under-23 men’s division, and Sens is one of three people to compete in the observe trials.
Mountain Bike Australia president Russ Baker said to be selected to ride for Australia was a great honour.
"The team contains a good mix of experienced riders, including previous world champions and podium place winners, who can assist our young riders to get the most out of this experience of a lifetime," he said.
The World Championships will be held in Hafjell in Norway between September 2nd and 7th.
