The all-England battle between Trump and Ricky Walden had fans enthralled in Friday's quarter-final at Bendigo Stadium.
Walden raced to a three-nil lead.
His winning score of 109 to 7 in the opening frame included a break of 104.
Walden won the next two, 72-0 and 75-55.
A break of 110 and overall score of 111 clinched a 103-shot victory for Trump in frame four.
Trump won the next two, 55-41 and 86-0 to level the contest.
Walden won the next frame, 80-4.
The eighth frame included a break of 77 by Trump in an 85-49 win.
Trump's run rolled on as he won the decider of the best-of-nine frame duel, 85-0.
Trump's next start at the table will be at 1pm on Saturday in the semi-final of the prestigious classic.
