COMMUNITY input will be sought for the development of the City of Greater Bendigo's Municipal Early Years Plan.

The plan will provide a strategic direction to improve child care and learning outcomes for local children from birth to eight years.

Community wellbeing director Pauline Gordon said the City of Greater Bendigo was committed to ensuring all children have the opportunity to thrive, especially during the all-important early years.

A key stakeholder forum will be held on July 18 and public consultation will follow throughout August and September.

If you would like to be involved in the development of the MEYP email a.harper@bendigo.vic.gov.au
