THE champion in 2011, Stuart Bingham hit off the latest $500,000 Australian Snooker Goldfields Open in fine form on Tuesday at Bendigo Stadium.

Bingham scored a 5-0 victory in the round one clash with Scott Donaldson.

In the other contest which began in the morning, Mark Davis holds a 4-2 lead against Dominic Dale.

Tuesday afternoon's matches feature Irishman Fergal O'Brien against Matthew Stevens, and Xiao Duodong opposed to Liam Highfield.

The night session hits off at 7pm and features John Higgins against Robert Milkins, while Stephen Maguire takes on Jamie Jones.
