The meeting:
"Steve and I met at the Reservoir Hotel through a mutual friend, five years ago"
The proposal:
"A few months after we had moved into the house we built together, Steve blindfolded me and lead me into one of our spare rooms. When I took my blindfold off I was standing in the middle of the room surrounded by candles in the shape of a heart with Steve kneeling on one knee in front of me!"
The wedding day:
"The weather on our day was touch and go! We made the decision to go with having our wedding outside. If the bride had of arrived on time we may have missed the rain, but while I was walking down the aisle the heavens opened! Very quickly we reversed the wedding around and moved inside.
Luckily the lovely staff at the All Seasons had prepared for either option. I guess if we’re looking on the bright side, we made the most of the venue."
The dress:
"My dress was purchased at Raffaele Ciuca in Armadale. It was made of satin with lace and diamante sleeves and a tie up back."
The cake:
"Our cake was made by Café Essence. It was half Belgian chocolate mud cake and half Belgian white chocolate and raspberry mud cake. Our cake was served as dessert with a Mars bar and caramel sauce and raspberry coulis."
