The finalists for the annual awards were announced on Monday, with Bendigo’s Festival of Tennis named a finalist in the Most Outstanding Tournament category.
The William Loud Bendigo International Pro Tour events played back-to-back was the centrepiece of the festival of tennis.
The events attracted some of the biggest names in Australian tennis, including top women Casey Dellacqua and Olivia Rogowska as well as a host of international players.
The AGL Loy Yang Taralgon and 90th Annual Shepparton Easter Tournament are also finalists in the Outstanding Tournament category.
The Kyneton and District Tennis Club was also named one of four finalists in the prestigious Most Outstanding Club, Centre or Association category.
It is the first time the regional club has been nominated for the award.
The club is up against the Melton South Tennis Club, Willison Park Tennis Club and the Yaapeet Tennis Club.
The Victorian Tennis Awards aim to reward the efforts of clubs and players from throughout the year.
Awards for coaching excellence, junior athlete of the year will be handed out.
The Victorian Spirit of Tennis award will be announced on the night.
The winners will be presented with their awards at Tennis Victoria's Championship dinner on June 23.
