The session will be presented by Bendigo Advertiser reporter Kristen Alebakis, Elliot Midland News’ Chris Yeend and sports consultant Fiona Jones.
The aim of the Female Administrator Network workshop is to help connect sporting organisations with the local media.
The event will be conducted in an interactive environment allowing attendees to share stories and ask questions.
Vicsport chief executive Mark McAllion said it would be the fifth workshop organised since 2011.
“It is a fundamental program to assist women in their roles as administrators and volunteers as well as providing unique networking opportunities,” he said.
“The workshops aim to support and educate participants through the provision of quality advice, consultation and education.
“We have received overwhelming support and positive feedback from past sessions and hope to see many of the participants in attendance again, along with many new attendees.”
The workshop will be held on May 28 between 6.30pm and 9pm at the Woodend Community Centre.
For Sport Focus members the cost is $15 per person or $25 for two people from the same organisation.
For non-members it is $25 per person or $40 for two people.
