Annie McKee and Bern Robertson are touring the country.
So far they have visited Hobart, Byron bay, the Gold Coast and Castlemaine.
"At gigs we play 10 original songs and 20 covers," McKee said.
"We cover mostly British pop songs from the 1960s.
"Our originals blend in well to the covers.
"Our instrumentation is sparse - I sing and Bern plays guitar.
"We play up-beat, catchy and sweet pop songs."
McKee said she developed her unique taste when she was young.
"When I was a teenager I got into the music," she said.
"We both like the charm of the 1960s.
"There is a romance we are really drawn to.
"Artists from that era can be quite funny and witty.
"Almost all of the songs we write are about love in one way or another - friendship, gratitude or romance.
"Generally about love in all its facets."
The duo hopes the tour will introduce them to a lot of new areas.
"We are introducing ourselves to possible new fans," McKee said.
Annie & Bern will next perform at Glenlyon General Store, Glenlyon on Friday, May 16, then Cosmopolitan Hotel Trentham on Sunday, May 18, and finally at The Chairmakers Wife, Kyneton, on Friday, May 23.
