Ms Berglund is a Dragon City Derby Dolls member and lost her mum to cancer two months ago.
While the pain is still raw, Ms Berglund is determined to make a difference to the lives of other cancer patients.
Money from her shave will go to the Peter McCallum Cancer Centre.
"Whoever donates the most money gets to shave my head in whatever style they like and I'll wear it like that for the rest of the day and to the after party," she said.
Ms Berglund is nursing a back injury and is off skates for the time being.
"But I'm looking forward to helping out in some other way, maybe on the merchandise stand," she said.
"It should be a good weekend."
The roller derby action will start at 1.30pm on Saturday when The Witches of East Vic take on Geelong Roller Derby.
Bendigo's home team, the Chicko Rollers go up against North East Roller Derby at 3.30pm.
Ballarat's Rat Pack will go head-to-head with VRDLs Gold Lions at 5.30pm.
Allison ‘Library Fine’ Hadfield said people new to the sport could expect to see plenty of action.
"It's been described as fun and feisty," she said.
"It's a full-contact sport played on quad roller skates.
"It's fast-paced and there's lots of action.
"It's good to watch."
