The Miners managed to double the score of their opponent Eltham at Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve on Saturday afternoon.
Bendigo scored six tries, converting four of them, compared to Eltham’s three tries and two conversions.
The final score 38-19.
Bendigo came out firing, quickly scoring the first three tries, leading by 17 points within the first 20 minutes of play.
Hooker Elson Tuitupou scored the first two tries and Johneen Fagavao scored the third.
Eltham managed to get back in the game after Bendigo began to push passes and give off a string of penalties.
At the main break Bendigo was only leading Eltham by seven points.
Eltham continued to have the momentum in the beginning of the second half however Bendigo lifted its intensity and reduced their error count.
Bendigo center Folau Makoni crossed the line and then Joseph Drahm did the same.
Phil Keech made the conversion given Bendigo an unassailable lead.
Bendigo will now travel to Ballarat on Saturday.
