Inside the Brick chief playmaker Rob Deakin used a quote from The Lego Movie to rate the success of the LEGO fan expo at The Capital.
More than 9000 people are expected to visit the Inside the Brick exhibition with tickets for Saturday's sessions already sold out.
"Bendigo hasn't had anything like this before so it's great to bring it from Melbourne and show people," Mr Deakin said
"There's obviously heaps and heaps of LEGO fanatics here so it's good to connect with them.
"We're expecting about 3000 people a day, so 9000 over the Easter weekend."
Inside the Brick featured creations by master builders including LEGO Ninjago, a huge train layout, LEGO City, Star Wars, LEGO Friends and an array of unique creations.
The expo also includes a huge brick pile in the LEGO brick play area.
"We have about 50 tables of models so that's about 500 or 600 models," Mr Deakin said.
"I've been an adult fan forever so it's great to show people, 'It's just not you who has this secret room with all this LEGO, there are heaps of other adults who are LEGO fans'.
"It's a multi-generational thing.
"There are expos all over the world and it's a good way for people to connect."
Lachlan Lewis, 16, is one of Bendigo's LEGO enthusiast.
Lachlan's mum Leanne said being involved with the Inside the Brick program had given her son new-found confidence.
"He's been into LEGO for quite a while - it was more actually a social thing for him after being sick when he was little," she said.
"One of the doctors at the Royal Children's got him in contact with it and it all started that way.
"He has learning difficulties and this has just got him right out of his shell.
"The more we can get him into things like this, the better.
"And being part of the expo is great for him - he gets to show his friends and teachers what he's created."
