Jacs Salon donated all profits from cuts and blow waves on Saturday to the annual appeal.
The fundraiser also coincided with the salon's fifth birthday and included a sausage sizzle, face painting, a raffle and balloons.
Owner Leanne Fitzpatrick said the salon was still collecting money in donation tins in store and the raffle was still going.
She said she was happy with the success of the event.
"It is such a good charity," she said.
"I like to give back to the community.
"People support you so much, it is good to give back."
Ms Fitzpatrick said the raffle would not be drawn until Thursday morning.
She said first prize was hair products worth $400, second prize was a Bridge Hotel voucher worth $100, third prize was a chocolate hamper and fourth prize was a toy from Toy World.
Ms Fitzpatrick said she would consider fundraising again next year.
