The week, which started on Friday, is a nation-wide celebration which marks the achievements and talents of young people.
City of Greater Bendigo community partnerships manager Suzie Mansell said local young people had worked hard to organise a broad range of exciting events.
"We are pleased to present more than 15 activities that will appeal to people’s different interests," she said.
"Highlights of the calendar of events include Stop Motion workshops in Bendigo and Heathcote, ABC Open photography workshops, the Bendigo TAFE fete, youth movie night and Headspace Bendigo Youth Show and Shine Car Rally.
"A number of events also received seed funding from the city, which is when event organisers apply to receive a small grant to help nurture a bright idea and assist in turning it into an event.
"The Bendigo and District Aboriginal Co Op Youth Art Exhibition, Bendigo Rugby Union Come and Try Day and Bendigo Library Manga Expo are just some events supported by this year’s seed funding."
National Youth Week finishes on April 12.
All events are free for young people aged 12 to 25 years and are supported by the State Government.
