APPLICATIONS are open for the Wordsmith Women in Business Scholarship.
The scholarship celebrates the contribution by women to sustainable and profitable business in Bendigo.
Wordsmith creative director Laura Patterson Smith said the scholarship was going from strength to strength.
"In its second year, the scholarship has already attracted a lot of interest from sponsors and supporters, and we’re looking forward to receiving applications," she said.
"If you’re a woman and you're interested in business, I really encourage you to find out more about the Women in Business Scholarship."
Ms Patterson Smith said the major prize was a $1500 course from the Business re-Education Centre.
The course covers business principles, goal-setting, business growth, money management, time management, delivery, profitability, marketing, sales, business systems, leaderships and teams, and action plans.
Forms are available at www.wordsmithldp.com.au and applications close on April 30 at 5pm.
The scholarship will be announced on May 28 and the 12 week course starts June 4.
